Financial Coach

It all started in 2014. I had just graduated St. John’s University with a Bachelor’s in psychology. I married my awesome husband that summer, and two months later learned that we were expecting our first child.

Before we got pregnant, we made some poor financial decisions – like leasing an SUV for $494 a month and getting sucked into financing $2,000 in pots and pans as a “promotion”- just to name a few. I added up our numbers. It wasn’t pretty. We were living paycheck-to-paycheck and over $70k in debt even though we made a six-figure salary.

I went into action mode. After putting my daughter to bed, I started staying up late at night researching the quickest way to pay down debt. We developed a realistic plan and knocked out all our debt in two years.

Along our debt free journey, I realized I had developed a love for finance.

I started helping my friends and family create a budget to pay off debt, build their savings, and invest for their future, all without giving up the things they love. It made me realize I wasn’t alone. I thought everyone knew about money, but I found so many people were struggling like we did.

In 2019, I launched my own financial coaching business, and shortly after found the community that Fiscal Fitness has built for people who want to become financial coaches. I was hooked and quickly signed up for their training and mastermind program. They helped me build my business and become a better coach. And in 2022, my wildest dreams came true when they asked me to join the Fiscal Fitness team. I love being a coach and I’m so thrilled to get to be a coach alongside the best coaches in the business.
